Meet Pegleg Pete – Proof That Love Always Finds a Way - Transport Available Nationwide I've been through a lot, but I still choose to trust and love everyone I meet. That's just who I am. I'm Pegleg Pete, a German Shepherd and Cattle Dog mix with a nub tail and a whole lot of heart. Not long ago, I was hit by a car. My leg was badly broken and healed the wrong way, so amputation became the best option to keep me comfortable. Now I'm a happy tripod, and I don't let it hold me back one bit. Want to go for a walk? I'm leash trained and ready. Need me to settle in for a while? I'm kennel trained too. I'm great with kids and other dogs, and I'm calm, gentle, and easy to be around. What I love most is being part of a family. I'm sweet and affectionate, and I want to spend my days close to the people I love. If you're looking for a resilient, loving companion, I might just be your guy. Pegleg Pete is fully vetted and ready to go.
