Meet Patches! Patches came to us earlier this year after being found as a stray. She couldn’t stay with her finder due to the chaos of 6 kittens, but now that they have all found their forever homes, it’s her turn to shine. This playful and sweet cat adores humans just as much as she loved her kittens. Patches is social and affectionate, and she enjoys cuddling, petting, and belly rubs (yes, really!). While she’s not a fan of being picked up, you can expect her to sit close by, soaking up all the love and attention. Her foster describes her as a devoted mother with a gentle meow that would call her kittens running to her side. In a new home, she’ll relish the opportunity for playful interactions and nap time. Since she has past outdoor experience, providing plenty of indoor enrichment is crucial to help her thrive indoors. Cat trees and elevated surfaces can help her feel secure while giving her room to climb and survey her territory. Patches has shown some stress behaviors around unfamiliar cats, so if you’re considering another pet, it’s important to ensure the setup and introductions are careful and appropriate.
