About Frida
Meet Frida. This lovely girl raised an entire litter of puppies, ensuring each one found a home before turning her sights on a family of her own. Her striking coat features a mix of black, white, and caramel, especially noticeable when she rolls over for some belly rubs. Frida also showcases an endearing head tilt whenever she encounters new sounds, including something as simple as a toilet flushing. According to her foster, Frida is house-trained and trustworthy, having had zero accidents even during long hours alone at home. She enjoys her time napping on the couch, and while she's occasionally chewed on a stuffed animal or rearranged a few shoes, she adapts well as long as doors are closed. She has a surprising amount of energy, happily striding through her walks and indulging in a few minutes of zoomies at the dog park before settling down. Treats are a delight, as she's picked up commands like sit and paw quite easily, but be wary of her dinner-time gazes to ensure nothing is left unguarded on the counters. Frida is a bit of a shadow, always close by and watching what you do. She enjoys attention but knows when to give you space. She's great with dogs, friendly and playful with every pup she's met. While she might be initially reserved with new people—watching and sniffing—she’s never aggressive. When excited, “love attacks” ensue, as she smothers you with kisses and gentle play-nibbles. Given her enthusiastic affection, a home with older kids would be a better match than one with toddlers. Frida seeks a family that enjoys daily walks, appreciates a canine companion by their side, and doesn’t mind keeping a treat jar handy. After months of nurturing others, she’s ready to be someone’s cherished pet. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
