About Maggie

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Maggie arrived at the rescue in April 2022, underweight and expecting puppies. She heroically gave birth on 4/21/22 and quickly became a devoted mom. Once her puppies were weaned, Maggie focused on her own health, underwent spay surgery, and completed heartworm treatment. As of September 8, 2022, Maggie has received a clean bill of health and is now full of playful energy, loving the chance to finally run and enjoy life. This bouncy girl has an active personality—she loves to play and can keep up with other dogs until they're ready for a break. After her play sessions, Maggie appreciates the comfort of her crate and settles in for a well-deserved rest. She’s happy in her crate environment and is known to seek out human affection, delighting in a good two-handed petting session when not in play mode. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
