About Hank
Hank is a striking 5.5-year-old golden retriever and border collie mix weighing around 70 lbs. He was adopted as a puppy but now finds himself looking for a new home due to his previous family's busy lifestyle and young kids, which made it hard for them to meet his exercise and attention needs. This loyal and energetic boy is both crate trained and house trained, plus heโs neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. Hank thrives on human companionship, especially with women and older children, but smaller kids may not be the best fit due to his energy level. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he does not get along with cats or small animals. Hank needs an active partner who can go on walks or runs with him. As a border collie mix, he requires physical exercise and mental stimulation, but heโs also at a great age where he can enjoy both activity and downtime. Heโs a sweet boy who gets clingy when left alone, often trying to follow his family. Hank is being fostered in N. Virginia and is available for adoption within the DC metro area, Richmond, and Harrisonburg. If you're looking for a loyal companion, reach out. This wonderful boy is ready to dedicate his heart to the right person. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
