About Chewie

Chewie is a lively and playful mixed-breed dog who's bound to bring energy and joy into any home. At about 4-5 months old, he's a confident little guy who loves socializing and playing games like "you can't catch me" with his dog friends. Weighing around 5 lbs now, he'll likely reach a maximum of 20 lbs as an adult. This vibrant pup has overcome significant challenges, having been hospitalized due to malnourishment. After receiving the care he needed, Chewie has bounced back and is ready for a loving family. He's a true social butterfly, quick to shower everyone he meets with kisses. To thrive, he needs an active household that can keep up with his spirited personality; he enjoys cuddling and relaxing after his adventures, too. Chewie has been working on his basics and has a good start with house-training, having learned to use a dog door. He's used to sleeping through the night in a quiet space and does well when left alone for short periods. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and has shown gentle behavior around cats, making him a great addition to a home with both. He also could fit in a family with kids aged 7 and up. Chewie's curly coat will need regular professional grooming, so his family should be prepared for that. Chewie is ready to light up your life with his joy and resilience.
