Meet Pierre Jacques! This charming young Maltese/Poodle mix brings joy into every room. Weighing around 13 pounds, he’s full of energy and affection, the kind of little buddy who thrives on companionship and playful adventures. Pierre is looking for an ideal home that meets a few specific requirements. He would do best with another friendly, playful dog and in a household with children aged 12 and up. An experienced adopter will be helpful to manage his fear-based behaviors during trips to the vet or groomer. Regular professional grooming every four to six weeks is a must to keep his medium-length coat in top shape. This little guy loves to go for walks, play with toys, and join in on family outings. He’s smart and quick to learn, already progressing well in potty training and crate training. Pierre gets along great with both dogs and cats; though he may join in a playful chase if a cat runs, it’s all in good fun. Although Pierre can be a bit barky and vocal, especially when excited, he truly shines in a calm and understanding environment. Continued positive reinforcement training will help him build confidence and feel secure.
