About King

Meet King, a vibrant 1.5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier weighing 65 lbs. King is a playful giant who loves to romp around and get plenty of affection. His previous owner mainly focused on potty training, so he still needs guidance in other areas, particularly loose-leash walking. He enjoys playing with his toys and appreciates a good butt scratch. While he gets along well with other dogs, his enthusiastic, rough play means he'd do best with canine companions of a similar size. Kings's exuberance can be a bit too much for small children, as he might accidentally bump into them during play. He has picked up commands like sit and reliably goes into his crate but is eager for more training. He has a keen interest in lizards and cats, so it's important to have a strong handler on the leash. A spacious backyard would be a perfect playground for him. Check out his adorable puppy picture; he's just as charming now! Ready to welcome this big lovebug into your life? Click apply to start the adoption process.
