About Finnegan
Meet Finnegan, also known as Finn! He arrived with a cleft palate on St. Patrick’s Day and was lovingly hand-raised before transitioning to regular puppy kibble. Finn now enjoys his meals like any other pup, just with a few extra precautions. It’s important to avoid wet or sticky foods that could lead to aspiration risks. Though he has some unique health considerations, Finn is a playful little Frenchie with a big personality. He’s sweet and social, always wanting to be part of the fun. Being a typical puppy, he’s still learning his manners and can be a bit rude with his doggy friends, so tolerant buddies are essential. Finn has been around kids and does great with them, but his lively Frenchie-tude may be better suited for older, dog-savvy children. As for living arrangements, Finn needs a home without shared walls since he’s quite vocal about his feelings. Potty training is progressing, too, and he’ll need consistent support in that area. Cage trained but not a fan of being crated when he knows you’re home, Finn does have some guarding behaviors around his crate that will require ongoing training. His cleft palate means his new family must be attentive to his dietary needs and potential respiratory issues. If you’re ready for a sweet little companion who brings a lot of joy and requires some extra care, Finnegan is waiting for you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
