Once at risk of euthanasia in a high-kill shelter in South Texas, Luna was saved by a compassionate group who saw her potential. Initially terrified in the chaotic shelter environment, she has blossomed into a sweet and loyal companion since finding safety at her current sanctuary. Luna is calm and affectionate, though she might be a bit shy when you first meet. She requires a bit of time to trust, but once she does, she becomes your devoted shadow, always wanting to be by your side. She's content being a couch potato, enjoys gentle play outdoors, and relishes being outside to soak in the fresh air. This loving girl thrives in peaceful environments and would thrive with gentle, patient individuals or families. She is great with other dogs and can coexist well with cats, provided there are proper introductions. Watch her motherly instincts shine through; when Robin, a young dog, joined her life, she took him under her wing with love and care.
