About Happy
Happy came off the euthanasia list at Corpus Christi Animal Control and is now thriving. This cream-colored German Shepherd mix had a rough start, struggling with unhealthy skin and a tough case of heartworm, but after treatment and lots of care, she’s looking great. She’s up-to-date on shots, spayed, and has been comfortable with Heart Guard Plus for prevention. Happy is energetic, playful, and always excited for her meals—she has a major soft spot for treats. She loves long walks, belly rubs, and shows her gentle, friendly spirit with children and other dogs. If you have cats, she has not met any yet, so supervised introductions are a must. Her rescue set-up hasn't allowed for house training yet, but she’s bright and motivated, and should catch on quickly in a home. Happy is ready to bring joy and loyalty to a family who’ll welcome her for good. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
