Unfortunately, her previous owner could no longer care for her, so she found herself at a vet clinic before making her way to Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter. Shilah is sweet and enjoys the company of the volunteers, who she would happily let pet her for hours. She's still warming up to the idea of being picked up, which she associates with stressful trips to the vet. With time and a peaceful environment, she'll relax and come to enjoy cuddling next to you on the couch. Shilah prefers a quiet home without small children. She does get along with other cats, but a slow introduction will help her feel secure.
