About Pax Churchill
Meet Pax Churchill, a spirited 70 lb Olde English Bulldog ready to become your new best friend. He’s an energetic and affectionate companion who loves to play fetch and squeak toys, yet also enjoys winding down as a couch potato alongside his favorite person. Having recently transitioned from a shelter, Pax can feel a little anxious at times. His ideal home would be quiet and stable, with someone patient to help him through his jitters. He prefers a scenario where someone is at home often, as he loves to follow his human around the house, napping or observing along the way. Housebroken and trustworthy, he knows commands like sit and shake, and he’s eager to learn more with consistent training. Pax would thrive in a home with a large fenced backyard where he can romp around safely. Though he’s getting better at walks, he’ll need some practice with leash skills. He has experience around children aged 16 and older and can get along well with them once he’s properly introduced. While he has not interacted much with dogs in his foster home, he reportedly gets along well with them. He’s also made strides with a resident cat, mostly ignoring him now, which opens the possibility for a cat-friendly home after slow introductions. Pax has had a past injury that required surgery on his MCL, but he's healed up well and enjoys running and playing normally now. Your new best friend is just one click away.
