Is your feline friend feeling lonely? Sweet Pea could be the perfect companion for those chilly days. This 10-year-old calico loves being around other cats, whether they are young or old. In her foster home, she has formed a bond with a spirited 3-year-old who enjoys wrestling and playtime. She also shares cozy moments with her 10-year-old foster sister, occasionally persuading her to join in the fun. Sweet Pea loves to be near her foster mom, often curling up on the couch to watch TV or read. While she’s not the most overtly affectionate cat, she delights in interactive play with wand and feather toys, and she’s known to nap in her human’s bed. When she finally submits to pets and shows her purrs, it’s truly rewarding to witness. One of her favorite ways to indulge is through crunchy treats like Temptations—despite having no teeth, she can't resist! Last year, Sweet Pea successfully completed treatment for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a severe condition that once seemed hopeless but has been turned around with new advancements in veterinary care.
