About Peter

Meet Peter, the little survivor eagerly awaiting his forever home! This young male cat is extremely affectionate and playful, making him an all-around wonderful companion. He adores attention, gets along great with other cats like his half-sibling Finley (also up for adoption), and finds joy in treats like Temptations and catnip toys. Peter thrives in a home with respectful kids over 8 years old, but he would prefer to avoid any dogs. Peter came to us from a challenging hoarding situation and faced a severe health crisis shortly after being neutered. He required multiple blood transfusions due to a bleeding condition that resulted in the loss of part of his tail. Through a lot of medical support, it was discovered that Peter has metabolic coagulopathy, a manageable condition. He takes a small Vitamin K pill every other day, and his medication routine is straightforward. If he ever needs surgery, an adjustment in his Vitamin K dosage will ensure he remains stable. One house rule Peter insists on is a clean litter box. He loves having a tidy bathroom to use. After his medical journey, he’s ready to swap hospital visits for cozy blankets, sunny windows, and crunchy leaves in a loving family. Peter is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Could he be the perfect addition to your family? If you’re looking for a funny and affectionate friend, Peter might just be your guy! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
