About Rocky

Meet Rocky! This 1-year-old Chihuahua brings a big personality to his small frame, weighing just 8 lbs. Rocky is a joyful little guy who loves to dance in circles and showcase his charming smile. He enjoys playing outside with his doggy friends and is both crate trained and house trained. Having come from a challenging background, Rocky needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the time to learn to trust again. He’s making great strides in his foster home, eagerly accepting treats and showering his foster mom with little kisses on her fingers. While he’s not quite ready to be held yet, he will appreciate someone who respects his boundaries and allows him to adjust at his own pace. Rocky is up to date on vaccinations and scheduled to be neutered and microchipped soon. His ideal home will feature a securely fenced yard and a family willing to nurture his growth without rushing him. He may not be a lap dog right away, but he has plenty of love to share with the right person willing to see the wonderful dog behind his fears. If you can offer Rocky the second chance he deserves, he will reward you with a deep bond as he learns to trust. Your patience can help him thrive. Click apply to start the adoption process.
