About Link

Link is a sweet boy who loves being with his people and strives to please. This young shepherd mix is smart, food-motivated, and enjoys training. He learns quickly and is very social, having thrived in a consistently rotating pack of dogs. Link is good with small dogs, females, and intact males while being appropriate with cats as well. Although he can be a bit rambunctious, he responds well to guidance and boundary corrections. At 7 months old, he requires structure and firm boundaries. Currently living in a modified board and train setting, Link enjoys public outings and gets along well with other dogs. He has been introduced to e-collar training and is making progress towards being off-leash reliable. However, he should not be left alone in a wire crate as he can bark excessively. A heavy-duty crate is available for his adopter if needed. Link needs a dedicated owner who views training as a lifestyle and can provide him with the physical outlets he requires. Link is located in a foster home, and a meet & greet can be arranged for pre-approved adopters. This energetic young dog is ready to thrive in a structured environment. What are you waiting for?
