About Jake

Jake is a striking 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a gentle heart and a unique appearance. Weighing in at 53 pounds, he was found as a stray and has exhibited a sweet temperament since day one. Jake might be partially or fully deaf, as he remains unfazed by the barking around him. His calm and positive body language when meeting other dogs through the fence shows his well-mannered nature. Timid at first, Jake prefers the company of his handler and will thrive with a patient adopter who can help him build trust. Once comfortable, he reveals his affectionate side, eagerly rolling over for belly rubs and leaning into the attention he craves. With some time, reassurance, and plenty of belly rubs, you'll discover the soft, loving nature that lies beneath his shyness.
