Meet Miss Ella. Ella is a 6.5-year-old Staffy mix who knows what it means to be deeply loved. After being adopted from the Fort Defiance Humane Society in June 2021, she spent years enjoying a life filled with plenty of room to run, home-cooked meals, and lots of cuddles. Sadly, circumstances have changed, and Ella is now back at the shelter, searching for a new beginning. She's well-mannered and an absolute joy to have around. Ella is affectionate and loves attention, showing sweetness to everyone she meets. She thrives on spending time with her people, soaking up affection as much as she can get. Ella experiences significant separation anxiety, which means her ideal home should have minimal alone time. Reactivity toward other animals suggests she'd be happiest as the only pet. She may pull a bit on the leash, but once in a fenced yard, she enjoys freedom and stretching her legs. Having known the warmth of a loving family, Ella deserves that feeling again.
