About Ivy

Ivy is a delightful companion who quickly bonds with her person, often deciding you're her favorite just moments after meeting. At 9 years old, she weighs around 14 pounds and showcases her lovely black coat. Rescued after her owner was hospitalized, Ivy's charm is hard to resist; even her foster family has fallen for her affectionate nature. She thrives on affection, especially enjoying forehead pets and sharing her famous kisses with those she trusts. Proudly house trained, she has zero accidents at home, and you’ll often find her waiting patiently by the door until her human returns. Ivy is also quite the velcro dog, demonstrating her love by sneaking onto the bed for nightly cuddles. This little lady loves her walks, performing a happy dance as soon as she realizes it's time to go out. She gets along excellently with her foster’s two small dogs, though she appreciates her personal space. While Ivy has a heart murmur that requires yearly check-ups, it doesn’t let her miss out on the good things in life, like fresh or cooked food over kibble. Ivy dreams of a loving home where she’ll be adored and told she’s a pretty, pretty princess every day. If you think that could be you, let’s get started!
