About Teddy

Teddy is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas, and is looking for a loving forever home. At about 3.5 years old and weighing 12 lbs, this mixed breed pup, which includes Miniature Poodle and Chihuahua, has a delightful long coat that has fully grown back after being shaved. He thrives on attention and enjoys being a lap dog, often excitedly climbing onto the laps of his foster family. While he gets along with most dogs, Teddy prefers calmer companions, ideally a single dog home or one with an older, quieter friend. He can be protective of his food, so mealtime should be a peaceful affair. Though he's mostly house trained, he’s still refining his skills. Teddy walks nicely on a leash and loves car rides, making him an excellent companion. This affectionate dog is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bring joy to a new owner, especially ones with past experience in dog ownership and no young children. What are you waiting for?
