About Stella

Meet Stella. This sweet girl recently came to us from Detroit Animal Care and Control, and it's clear she adores being close to her humans. On her car ride here, she nestled comfortably on the transporter’s lap, soaking up all the affection she could find. At around 3 years old and weighing approximately 51 pounds, Stella is a perfect-sized companion with a gentle nature. She’s known to get along well with other dogs and loves kids. Stella, a Pit Bull Terrier, has tested positive for heartworm and is scheduled for treatment at Heritage Animal Hospital next week. While this may sound daunting, our veterinary team is experienced, and we are optimistic about her recovery. Stella is currently in foster care, enjoying the warmth of soft beds and kind hands, knowing she is safe. We are excited to learn more about Stella as she embarks on this new chapter. Her journey with us is just beginning, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
