Meet Posey Posey is a 2.5-year-old pittie mix with the sweetest, softest soul. She may not be the type to run up to strangers right away-but give her a little time (and maybe a few treats), and she'll quietly melt into your side and become your loyal shadow. Once she bonds, she bonds hard. She lives for her people. Posey does well with other dogs when paired with the right personality. She enjoys playful, respectful companions, but she's not a match for every dog and can be a bit much if the energy isn't balanced. A proper introduction and a good fit will set her up for success. She can be cautious with new people and environments, so she'll need a patient home that understands she won't be the "life of the party" right away. She's not the kind of dog who will thrive in a busy, constantly changing household-but in a calmer home, she truly shines. She has a nice mix of energy-she'll enjoy walks and playtime, but she's just as happy curling up on the couch and soaking in the quiet moments with you. Potty trained Crate trained Smart and eager to learn (currently working on commands & leash skills) And her little quirks? They'll steal your heart. When you come home, she does the cutest foot-tapping wiggle, and if food is involved... expect some adorable little teeth chattering. While she has seen cats from a distance, based on past experience, a home without cats would be best for her. She would also do best in a home with older kids or adults who can respect her need for space while she settles in. Posey isn't for everyone-and that's okay.
