Meet Mr. Worldwide! This charming 11-week-old Pit Bull Terrier mix is a 20-pound bundle of curiosity, mischief, and nonstop puppy charm. His name has an interesting backstory — Mr. Worldwide was named after the rapper Pitbull because he was one of the puppies who got to hang out backstage at a concert on September 26. Quite the memorable introduction to the world! Mr. Worldwide adores other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine sibling for wrestling and puppy antics. Currently, he's living with two foster brothers and has a blast with them. If he is the only dog in his new home, it’s important for his family to ensure he gets ample opportunities for play and socialization with other friendly pups. A big fan of his humans, Mr. Worldwide enjoys being around people and does not like missing out on the fun. Thankfully, he handles separation well, settling down with a toy if his family steps out. He has a particular fondness for all kinds of toys, from squeaky and crinkly to bouncy and fluffy. He has met children, including a 3- and a 7-year-old, and has been around kids at adoption events. Like most puppies, Mr. Worldwide is curious and loves to explore with his mouth but can be easily redirected to a chew toy. He’s very friendly, greeting newcomers enthusiastically, so continued training on polite greetings will be essential as he grows. Potty training is going well! He understands that going outside earns him treats and signals when he needs to go out. Although sometimes he's in too much of a hurry, he's learned to use potty pads if he can’t make it outside. Mr. Worldwide enjoys his crate, willingly settling in at bedtime and sleeping quietly through the night. His morning call is quite unique, sounding like he’s clearing his throat — a special way to let his foster family know it’s time to head out. Overall, he seems to be a medium-energy pup who will enjoy daily walks and plenty of active playtime. While a fenced yard isn't necessary, he does have a knack for finding ways to join his humans outdoors, making good door manners crucial.
