Winston is a fun-loving, goofy guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves to play and explore, wanting to be a part of whatever his humans are doing. Once he's burned off some energy, nothing makes him happier than snuggling up next to you, preferably under a blanket. He’s graduated from the puppy phase of destruction but still has a mischievous streak, particularly when it comes to tempting cat food left on counters. His DNA test revealed he’s primarily an American Pit Bull Terrier with a hint of Perro de Presa Canario, making him quite a unique companion. Winston is fully potty trained, crate trained, and knows commands like "sit," "stay," and "shake". He’s smart, motivated by treats, and is always ready to learn. He enjoys daily walks where he can discover new sights and smells, even if he sometimes gets distracted by the world around him. Although he may bark dramatically at new dogs, he’s working hard to build his confidence. He’s been raised with other dogs and enjoys their company, though he needs time to adjust to meeting new dogs. Living peacefully with a cat has been possible for him, but past interactions haven’t always gone smoothly.
