Meet Lola! This beautiful girl is approximately 7 to 8 months old and weighs around 35 lbs. Though we think she's a Beagle mix, breed labels are just educated guesses based on her appearance. Found as a stray, she’s been waiting at the shelter since August for a loving family. Lola is a sweet and playful pup with a lot of potential. She’s still learning about the world and will need a dedicated family to help her transition from shelter life. Her new family should be patient and willing to work on potty training, basic obedience, and other essential skills. She thrives on youthful energy and curiosity, requiring daily walks and stimulation through play and training. Lola loves other dogs and would do great with a canine companion. However, she can also excel as the only dog with a family that can provide her with plenty of attention. While she hasn't been tested with cats, a home with a cat could work if the adopter understands the importance of slow introductions. Lola has had limited exposure to children, but we believe she can do well with respectful kids under supervision. Ideally, Lola would have access to a securely fenced yard, but she can also adapt to apartment living as long as she gets her exercise. She may need some time to adjust to home routines, so her future family should be patient and understanding. The shelter is overcrowded, and dogs like Lola face uncertain futures without homes. After months in care, she deserves a family to call her own and a chance to start a new life. Lola is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Transportation to her new home in Texas is included in the adoption fee of $600. Note that adopters won’t be able to meet her in person before finalizing the adoption.
