Mabry is a beautiful female Hound/Beagle mix, currently taking care of her puppies and not quite ready for adoption just yet. She’s nursing her little ones and is in need of a maternity foster to provide her with a quiet, stress-free environment as she raises them. Ideally, a spare bedroom, office, or even a bathroom would work perfectly for her and her pups. This arrangement allows them some space away from the busyness of a household. Austin Pets Alive! will supply you with everything you need for this journey, and they also offer guidance on what to expect. The goal is to keep Mabry and her puppies until they are ready for weaning, which usually happens around 3-4 weeks of age. During this time, you can enjoy plenty of puppy snuggles and the joy of seeing them grow. And as the foster, you’ll be given priority in adopting Mabry or any of her puppies if you choose.
