Meet Kira, a 3-year-old purebred Belgian Malinois. Compact yet full of energy, she's a true example of the breed, known for their intelligence and work ethic. Kira has the smarts and drive, but she's also mastered the art of relaxation. After a day of hiking or training, you’ll find her curled up next to you, ready for some snuggle time. Kira adores people of all ages, from kids to grandparents, and once you're her person, expect her to be your devoted shadow. This affectionate dog has already begun her journey in K9 detection work and shows great potential, making her an excellent choice for someone interested in dog sports or training. One important note: Kira requires a home where she is the only pet. No other dogs, cats, or any other animals allowed. She's all about soaking up your love and attention, and she deserves it. After being in the rescue for too long, Kira is eager to find her forever home. She could very well be your introduction to the joys of owning a Malinois, as long as you're prepared to meet her needs for exercise and training. Currently located in Los Gatos, CA, but can be transported to the Bay Area for the right adopter. Out-of-state applications are welcome.
