About Zoey
Meet Zoey. Zoey has faced challenges early in life. She and her three brothers were rescued from a hoarding situation in South Texas, where they lived under terrible conditions. When she was saved, Zoey was severely matted, covered in fleas, and dealt with painful skin issues. A large bladder stone was discovered during her spay surgery, causing her significant discomfort. Now in the DFW area, she has undergone surgery to remove that stone and is on the road to recovery, ready for a loving home. At about three years old, Zoey is fully vaccinated, spayed, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and on a heartworm prevention plan. She has allergies, so ongoing medication will be necessary, along with a prescription dog food to maintain her bladder health. Zoey prefers a family that spends time at home but is well-behaved on outings. She walks calmly on a leash, sleeps soundly in her dog bed, and loves to cuddle on your lap. Friendly with other dogs, she enjoys playing, especially with those close to her size. House trained and sweet-natured, this little girl would make an excellent companion. Her recent groom has her looking and feeling fantastic! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
