About Milo

Milo spent weeks in a parking lot, matted and smelly, ignored by passersby who didn’t want to go near him. Mini Mutts Animal Rescue didn’t look away. After years of neglect, Milo came in with skin issues and infection. He’s getting medicated baths, treatments for his skin, and ear and eye drops, steadily improving a bit each day. This senior boy, about 10 years old and 13 lbs, is gentle, quiet, and incredibly sweet. Milo gets along well with other dogs and shows lots of calm patience—he's the definition of resilient. His medium-length black and gray coat is gradually coming back to life. In spite of everything, Milo still trusts, and just wants a comfortable spot and gentle care for his golden years. He could be a great match for a quieter home ready to show him kindness. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Milo

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Milo is a Shih Tzu/Brussels Griffon mix and typically does best in a calm indoor environment, like an apartment or house with a predictable routine. His breeds are well known for adapting well to smaller spaces as long as they receive enough attention.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Milo’s breeds are usually tolerant with children and, being gentle himself, he could do well in a home with respectful kids who understand his senior status and need for calm.
