Izzy is a loving 3.5-year-old Golden Retriever looking for an understanding forever home. Rescued from an unfortunate situation, she has experienced neglect, making her hesitant, especially around food. While she exhibits food aggression towards humans and other dogs, she is currently undergoing training to help her overcome this behavior. It’s important that her new home doesn’t have young children or possibly other dogs. Despite her challenges, Izzy is a friendly and affectionate girl when food isn't involved. She currently has Lyme disease, which might cause her some discomfort, but she's a resilient soul who deserves a fresh start.
