About Eartha

Eartha is a vibrant 4-year-old Tennessee Treeing Brindle with a short brindle coat who weighs about 38 lbs. She has quite the backstory; found in November 2024 at a dump site with heavy chains, she slowly learned to trust again thanks to her foster’s care. After being adopted in May 2026, she’s back on the search for a loving home due to her adopter’s international move. Despite her rocky beginning, Eartha is a friendly extrovert who adores everyone she meets. She gets along well with dogs that match her playful energy and has lived harmoniously with cats. Although active and adventurous, she's also well-behaved and mellow indoors. Eartha is house and crate trained, but she can be slightly dog-reactive on a leash. She thrives with an experienced handler who can help her establish boundaries. Currently fostered in Woodstock, NY, Eartha is available for local or even out-of-state adoption as long as you can meet her first. She can also be brought to NYC for meet-and-greets.
