About Toad
Meet Toad! This handsome Catahoula mix is around 1.5 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. Toad is not just a pretty face; he's a smart and active guy who thrives when engaged in activities. He learns quickly, is treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit. Toad loves to run and play with toys, and frankly, he could really use a job! Whether that involves training, adventures, or simply an active lifestyle with you, he has a lot of potential to offer. At first, when you see him in his kennel, he might seem a bit overexcited. The busy shelter environment isn't his favorite, but once you take him out, he'll show you just how responsive and intelligent he can be. Toad had a rough start, sadly abandoned on the side of the road, but he's ready for a fresh start with someone who understands his needs. Toad is located in Gainesville, TX, and we're happy to accommodate out-of-state adopters with meet-and-greets via FaceTime. If you think Toad might be the right fit for your home, reach out to learn more!
