Congratulations, you just found the sweetest dog on Petfinder. Tuna was rescued from a high kill shelter. She had mange at the time and her condition meant instant death for her. Fortunately we were able to treat the mange and the subsequent staph infection, and yeast infection. After on going problems with her skin we had an allergy test performed. Tuna is allergic to beef and chicken. She can not be fed food that contain either of those products. We also keep her on an anti allergy med in order to keep her happy and non itchy. She is still the cutest and sweetest dog on the planet. Tuna loves to sit next to you on the couch and have her ears rubbed. She doesn't mind cats or other dogs although she prefers her doggie friends be a little calmer too. She is completely crate trained and likes to fetch tennis balls and play tug of war. She is also known to toss soccer balls around for herself. We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. Our adoption fee goes towards covering age appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test, rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter!
