About LexiWheaten

Meet sweet miss Lexi, a 9.5-year-old Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier mix weighing around 30 pounds. This lovely girl came to us after living in two very devoted homes. Her previous owner faced serious medical issues, but now she’s safe and ready for a new chapter. Lexi is a calm, adaptable companion who enjoys leisurely walks and playing fetch. Although she isn't much for swimming, you'll often find her playfully guarding the pool. Once she warms up to new faces, she loves to cuddle and spend quality time with her humans. Good news: Lexi gets along well with other dogs and even cats. Ideally, she would thrive with a canine sibling, especially after losing her longtime friend. She’s both potty pad and outdoor trained, does well in a kennel, and is perfectly fine when left alone in the house. In the car, she behaves nicely and enjoys dining in the company of others. Lexi is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. While she has only a few teeth remaining, her dental care is minimal, and she enjoys both dry and soft foods. Lexi has experienced some mild separation anxiety and would benefit from a patient owner who can help her adjust to her new home. Her adoption fee of $350 aids our rescue in covering essential medical costs. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and can offer Lexi the love she needs, complete an application today. She’s ready to fill your home with warmth!
