Meet Anatto! This sweet Shih Tzu mix is over 12 years old and weighs just 8 pounds. Anatto came to us after being found neglected in a local shelter, scared and matted, with irritated skin. Thanks to his caring foster family and regular medicated baths, he's feeling much better now. Anatto seeks a quiet, cozy home to enjoy his golden years. He appreciates having his own special space for napping and relaxing, but he also loves to climb into his person’s lap for some extra affection. When his foster mom comes home, his adorable “puppy” face lights up the room, making it hard not to smile. While his vision is limited, possibly blind in one eye, Anatto has adapted surprisingly well and gets around fine. He may be a bit hesitant to go outside after dark, so a safe, well-lit spot for nighttime potty breaks is ideal. This lovable old soul deserves a safe and loving forever home.
