About Ruger

Ruger is a gentle soul, and he's ready for a new beginning after a tough transition. This charming Miniature Dachshund, at about 9 to 10 pounds, comes as part of a bonded pair with his sister, Nellie. They were surrendered due to their family moving, which has undoubtedly been hard for them. He's a fan of chasing tennis balls and loves curling up for cozy snuggles. Ruger is house trained and knows how to use potty pads, making him a good fit for many homes. He does well with kids and even gets along with cats, but he can be a bit protective of Nellie around other dogs. Ruger is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, ready to bring joy to the right family. Stay tuned as we learn more about this lovable guy! Ready to make a difference? Apply to adopt!
