About Ahlee

Ahlee is a lively dachshund and terrier mix, full of playful energy. At just a year and a half old and weighing around fifteen pounds, he has a striking brindle coat, a dark muzzle, and a long, dark tail he proudly holds high as he moves. He loves to play and will entertain himself for as long as you'll let him, but when playtime’s over, he likes to settle down at your feet, looking up for your next move. Ahlee does well with other dogs and thrived in their company. While he hasn't been around children or cats yet, his enthusiastic nature might be too much for very young kids or anyone with balance issues. This little guy needs a home that can provide him with regular walks and plenty of playtime to keep him stimulated. Since he’s fully grown, the size you see is the size you get; he’s small enough to join you on all sorts of adventures. Meet and greets are by appointment at Petersburg Animal Care & Control, open Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM, with possible extension for volunteers outside those hours.
