About Obi

Obi is a gentle soul who tends to be shy and a bit undersocialized. With some patience and time, he warms up and will let you hold and pet him. Currently, Obi lives alone in an empty house while his previous owner receives nursing care. A friend and relative are looking after him and helping find him a new home. Obi is about 10 years old and is keeping up with his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for FIV/FELV. At a hefty 17 lbs, Obi embodies the charm of a panther, with his beautiful black coat and short fur. Obi gets along with cats but does not have a taste for canine companionship. As a Community Assist animal, he is adopted as is, with the process managed by Mercy Fund Animal Rescue to support community members needing to find homes for their pets. If you're interested in giving Obi a loving home, please take the first step and fill out an adoption application.
