Rusty
AvailableRusty is a male American Shorthair and just 10 months old. He’s a medium-sized cat with a short coat, neutered, vaccinated, and fully house trained. Rusty gets along well with other cats and children, and he’s in Hickory, NC, waiting for someone patient and caring to bring him home.
About Rusty
Rusty came into the world alongside his siblings Puff Puff and Flash, their mother abandoned until a Good Samaritan gave them shelter. This gentle young cat has grown up knowing kindness and now waits patiently for a home of his own. He’s a touch shy at first, especially around new faces, but patience brings out his affectionate side. Rusty enjoys rubbing up against your legs and chatting away, making the wait for his trust more than worthwhile. He’s done well with other cats and is comfortable around children, and while he’d love to stay with his siblings, he can also adapt just fine solo. If you’re willing to give him the time he needs, Rusty will reward you with loyalty and soft purrs. Rusty is a Cancer, so he’s extra sensitive—no surprise there. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
