Meet Lena, a loving and gentle soul who’s looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is an Australian Shepherd mix and weighs around 58 lbs. She has a beautiful short coat with striking white and cream along with touches of black. Lena is calm and affectionate, having taken excellent care of her puppies, who are now in foster homes. Now, it’s her turn to be loved and cared for. Lena is heartworm positive, but don’t let this discourage you! She just needs a cozy home to relax and recover during her treatment, which is fully covered. Once she completes her treatment, Lena will be able to enjoy a normal, healthy life. Volunteers are eager to find her a foster home if you’re unable to adopt. This weekend, you can meet Lena at our pet adoption event at the Merriam PetSmart from 12 to 3 PM on Saturday, September 26.
