About Saint Francis

Meet Saint Francis, and yes, she truly deserves her name! This lovely Saint Bernard isn’t just about looks; she’s one of the sweetest and easiest dogs you could hope for as a companion. Saint Francis picked up her name almost immediately and listens attentively. She displays a calm and gentle demeanor while being happily eager to stay close to her person. This girl thrives on companionship, simply wanting to be wherever you are without needing constant entertainment. Currently, she shares a foster home with dogs ranging from 7 to 120 pounds and gets along beautifully with everyone. After being a fantastic mom to her four puppies, it’s finally time for her to enjoy some well-deserved pampering. When Saint Francis came to us, she was thin and pregnant, and while nursing her puppies, she has taken time to regain her strength. She currently weighs about 90 pounds, and we're aiming for her to reach a healthy weight of around 105 pounds as she fully recovers. Fully potty trained and never destructive, she has excelled in her foster home, even managing without a crate. Saint Francis walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent car companion, happily hopping into the back of a vehicle for an adventure. A little drool is part of the package with a Saint Bernard, but it’s easily managed with a quick wipe of a rag. After all she has been through—living as a stray and prioritizing her puppies—Saint Francis is ready to be spoiled in her forever home. If you want a loving, gentle giant who will follow you around and curl up at your feet, Saint Francis is your girl. Each day could be your new adventure together!
