Though he sometimes barks when meeting new people, especially when unsure, he quickly settles down and reveals his affectionate nature when given the time to adjust. At home, Gus enjoys chewing on his toys and does well with his own belongings, showing little interest in children's toys. He’s currently working on house training and has shown he can go days without accidents. Gus is looking for a family who understands that building confidence takes time.
