About Buford

Meet Buford, or as his foster mom affectionately calls him 'Buey', pronounced 'byoo-ee'. This tiny gray fluff ball is packed with personality. His striking green eyes pop against his cool-toned gray fur, but it's his adorably large belly that often captures hearts instantly. Buford is energetic, curious, and brimming with love, making him an ideal companion for a joyful household. His journey began when he and his twin sisters, Vada and Twila, were found outdoors and brought to a local shelter. Thankfully, they soon transferred to a loving foster home where they transformed into playful, healthy kittens. Always ready for action, Buford thrives on playtime, especially when wrestling with his sisters. He would thrive in a home with at least one feline companion to share his adventures. His love for food is well known — a gentle paw smack might accompany any attempts to touch his meals. Amidst his playful spirit, Buford also knows how to relax, enjoying quiet moments snuggling in sunbeams or curling up next to his humans. Though he has limited exposure to dogs, his foster mom believes he would likely adapt well to a dog friend, albeit with a few kitten antics involved in their interactions. With his gentle nature, Buford gets along with supervised children too, often pursuing any moving objects as potential playmates. His charm and quirky personality will undoubtedly bring laughter to any home he's a part of. If you're ready for some excitement and cuteness, come meet Buford (and perhaps his equally delightful sisters) soon! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
