Newman is an exceptional orange tabby with a personality as bright as his beautifully vivid fur—it's like a burst of sunshine! This young male cat is sweet, mild-tempered, and playful, seeking affection while keeping a charmingly independent spirit. His playful nature shines, especially when it comes to his beloved catnip banana. Rescued on a sweltering July day, Newman came to the shelter in need of care and hydration. Despite his FIV+ status, he is living proof that FIV cats can thrive in loving homes, especially when they are in non-stressful environments. Newman can be integrated into homes with other cats and is even good with cat-friendly dogs. At almost a year old, Newman is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He thrives indoors and gets along exceptionally well with children and other pets. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to him, don’t hesitate—there’s a happy life waiting for you both!
