Meet Rainbow, a delightful 50-60 pound shepherd mix, eager to fill your life with joy. Turning 7 years young on October 18th, this vibrant girl came to The Rescue Inn through no fault of her own and is on a mission to spread happiness to everyone she encounters. Rainbow is a happy, active adult dog, leaving the puppy antics behind but retaining a zest for playtime. One look at her majestic, upright ears confirms her playful spirit. Those ears seem to have a life of their own—are they dog ears, or does she secretly harbor talents as a fruit bat or jackrabbit? Their delightful charm perfectly frames her intelligent shepherd face, reflecting her excitement to see you. As the ultimate family companion, Rainbow thrives in her foster home with young children, showcasing her gentle, loving nature. She has the stamp of approval from her foster mom for being affectionate and patient. Rainbow is also quite the social butterfly with dogs, both big and small, as she gets along fabulously with her foster brother, a large St. Bernard, and has previously shared her space with smaller dogs. Water is her playground; whether splashing in a kiddie pool or chasing streams from the hose, she lights up at the sight of it.
