Say hello to Shay! She is a 4 year old Shepherd/wolf hybrid mix who weighs about 55 pounds. Shay can be a bit shy with new people, but she warms up quickly and is sweet as can be! She enjoys occupying her own time and is the perfect combination of independent and affectionate. When she's feeling excited, she enjoys playing with toys, but she mostly enjoys going for long walks outside and enjoying the fresh air. Shay absolutely loves other dogs, so she would love to live in a home with another dog that she can be playmates with. Due to her initial sensitivity, if there are children in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. Shay has been returned to us multiple times for traits that are common to wolf hybrids. Any interested adopter will need previous experience with wolf hybrids and experience with positive reinforcement training to ensure her next home is her forever home.
