Odin is a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who weighs around 60 lbs and boasts a striking tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat. He has settled well into his new surroundings but has shown some anxiety when left alone, often becoming vocal and restless initially. With patience and some training, he has begun to calm down more quickly than before, taking about 15 minutes to settle once his people leave. This spirited boy travels well in a vehicle and is filled with enthusiasm when it comes to exploring the outdoors. He enjoys playing with other dogs and can sometimes be possessive over toys, but he's generally gentle and playful. Kids and small children also interest him, as he approaches them curiously before moving on. While Odin is house-trained and has no accidents indoors, he does need a home where someone is around frequently—or at least can help manage his anxiety when left alone. With continued exercise and training, he will thrive as a loving companion. Currently, Odin is on Purina Pro Plan Performance kibble, eating around 2-4 cups a day, and enjoys being with people, whether curled up on his bed or getting cozied up next to them.
