Meet Buck! This 4-year-old Catahoula mix is a charming, 56 lbs bundle of joy. Buck thrives on affection and loves nothing more than being surrounded by people. He’s playful and friendly, often letting out a joyful "WOOF!" when he’s really enjoying himself. Running and playing with other dogs is one of his favorite pastimes, and he participates in playgroup daily at the shelter. Buck has a fondness for stuffy toys and going on walks. Rolling in the grass on hot summer days and sunbathing with friends—both canine and human—are some of his favorite activities. While he hasn’t been formally tested with kids, the staff believes Buck would do well with kind and respectful children. Though he enjoys the company of dogs, he’s not a fan of cats. This lovable guy is looking for a forever home where he can be active, or settle in for some cozy couch time.
