About Henry
Meet Henry. Henry is a neutered, 6-year-old male Catahoula mix weighing around 38 lbs, currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. Once an approved adopter is found, he can be transported out of state. This sweet gentleman is ready for his forever home! If you're searching for a well-behaved, lovable family member, Henry is the one for you. He’s past the rambunctious puppy stage and just needs a comfy bed, toys to enjoy, and plenty of cuddles to be happy. Henry loves the company of other dogs and would thrive with a canine sibling. He has a gentle, submissive demeanor and greets other dogs with a wagging tail. He met a 9-year-old child and did wonderfully, suggesting he'd do well with older kids. This friendly boy is crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash. Although he has a bit of bow in his legs, it only adds to his charm! Henry needs a lot of love and a safe space during thunderstorms, as loud noises can be frightening for him. Thankfully, he has shown no destructive behaviors in his foster home, other than enjoying his favorite toys. With his adorable smile and puppy dog eyes, it's hard not to fall for Henry.
